Who can say, "I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?" {Proverbs 20:9}
Yahweh looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God. They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is none who does good, no, not one. {Psalm 14:2, 3} Those who are in the flesh can't please God. {Romans 8:8}
For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice. {Romans 7:18, 19} For we have all become as one who is unclean, and all our righteousness is as a polluted garment: and we all fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away. {Isaiah 64:6}
The Scriptures imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. {Galatians 3:22} God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses. {2 Corinthians 5:19}
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. {1 John 1:8, 9}

I am your portion and your inheritance. {Numbers 18:20}
Whom do I have in heaven? There is no one on earth whom I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.{Psalm 73:25, 26} Yahweh assigned my portion and my cup. You made my lot secure. 013 Reading - Light For Your Path
listen to this devotion
Your word has revived me. {Psalm 119:50}
The first man, Adam, became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.{1 Corinthians 15:45}
As the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself. {John 5:26} I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. {John 11:25, 26}
In him was life, and the life was the light of men ... As many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. {John 1:4, 12, 13}
It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life. {John 6:63} The word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. {Hebrews 4:12}

Listen to this devotion
On the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man on it above. {Ezekiel 1:26}
The man Christ Jesus. {1 Timothy 2:5} Made in the likeness of men ... found in human form. {Philippians 2:7, 8} Since ... the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in the same way partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death. {Hebrews 2:14}
(I am) the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. {Revelation 1:18} Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him! For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God. {Romans 6:9, 10} What if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? {John 6:62} He raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places.{Ephesians 1:20} In him all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily, {Colossians 2:9}
He was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God. {2 Corinthians 13:4}

Behold, he struck the rock, so that waters gushed out, and streams overflowed. {Psalm 78:20}
Our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; and all ate the same spiritual food; and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ. {1 Corinthians 10:1-4} One of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. {John 19:34} He was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. {Isaiah 53:5}
You will not come to me, that you may have life. Be very desolate," says Yahweh. {John 5:40} My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the spring of living waters, and cut them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. {Jeremiah 2:13}
If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink! {John 7:37} He who desires, let him take the water of life freely. {Revelation 22:17}

Listen to this devotion
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light. {Luke 11:34}
The natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned. {1 Corinthians 2:14} Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law. {Psalm 119:18}
"I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life." {John 8:12} We all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image ... even as from the Lord, the Spirit. {2 Corinthians 3:18} God who said, "Light will shine out of darkness," who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. {2 Corinthians 4:6}
The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; ... that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. {Ephesians 1:17, 18}

Listen to this devotion
You shall eat and be full, and you shall bless Yahweh your God for the good land which he has given you. {Deuteronomy 8:10}
Beware lest you forget Yahweh your God. {Deuteronomy 8:11} One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice. He fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan. Jesus answered, "Weren't the ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?" {Luke 17:15-18}
Every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanksgiving. For it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer. {Titus 4:4, 5} He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks. {Romans 14:6} Yahweh's blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. {Proverbs 10:22}
Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name! Praise Yahweh, my soul, ... who forgives all your sins; ... who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies. {Psalm 103:1-4}

The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. {1 Timothy 1:14}
You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich. {2 Corinthians 8:9} But where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly. {Romans 5:20}
That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus; for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. {Ephesians 2:7-9} Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law. {Galatians 2:16} According to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior. {Titus 3:5, 6}

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness ... Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. {Psalm 91:5, 6, 9, 10} He who keeps you will not slumber. 004 Light For Your Path Reading

Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. {Hebrews 12:1, 2}
If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. {Luke 9:23} Whoever of you who doesn't renounce all that he has, he can't be my disciple. {Luke 14:33} Let's therefore throw off the works of darkness. {Romans 13:12}
Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. I therefore run like that, as not uncertainly. I fight like that, as not beating the air, but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected. {1 Cor. 9:25-27} Brothers, I don't regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. {Phil 3:13, 14} Let us acknowledge Yahweh. Let us press on to know Yahweh. {Hosea 6:3}
